Sharknose Cyclekart Final Wrap Up | The Finish Line

In this video we take the Sharknose out for its first real drive....on a proper race track. The kart drove great, the steering is a bit heavy, maybe one wheel drive will be easier. On my cool down lap after the first hour plus endurance event we had a major engine problem. The timing key sheared off when the flywheel bold came loose. This is likely my fault, I must not have properly torqued the bolt to 65 foot pounds. So a new crank shaft, timing key and flywheel are in order.
