Carla Fracci GISELLE Act I Variation (1969)
One of the 20th Century's most exquisite "Romantic" ballerinas was the great Italian ballerina, Carla Fracci. She was most known for her dramatic abilities and 19th Century repertoire. Here she is at 31 in the 1st Act Variation from GISELLE, one of her signature roles. What I like most about this is the proper tempo (it is so often slowed down these days) and respect for the choreography.
