Heat Wave Cameras - What They Are and Why YOU Need one
In today's episode, I'm introducing the concept of a Heat Wave camera. I first came up with this idea on my recent Mallorca vacation. Initially, I had brought my Canon F-1, my Leica M6 and my Contax T. The first two days were very hot already and I ended up using my Canon F-1 for the entirety of each day. On the third day, I was so exhausted and just the sheer thought of picking up that heavy brick of equipment made me uncomfortable. It was exactly at this moment that the Contax T started smiling at me and whispering in my ear: "Today is my day, it's too hot for the big cameras, take me with you." And so I did. For the rest of my holiday I exclusively used the Contax T, a wonderful, small, yet very capable camera that ended up saving my vacation (in a photographic sense haha). That's how I came up with the concept of a heat wave camera and in this video, I'm explaining the concept in more detail and I'll be diving into what attributes a perfect heat wave camera needs. Moreover, I'll be sharing a lot of sample photographs that I made on my vacation with the Contax T, using Kodak Gold and Kodak Pro Image 100. _____________________________________________ If you want to work with me, or order prints, reach out to: [email protected] Wanna see more of my work?
