Struggling up ‘The Craig Road’, Monmouth, Wye Valley. Green laning on my Honda CRF250L.

Tackling The Craig Road, Monmouth, on my 2017 Honda CRF250L. This was the most challenging green lane I had faced to date. A long, steep and muddy hill climb with rocky steps and ledges to hinder climb progress. I spent a lot of time stuck and/or on the floor, out of breath, sweating and struggling - but determination and perseverance saw me to the top. In hind sight, the MITAS 09s weren’t particularly suited to muddy climbs and were well worn with only a few mil of tread left - although this is me finding excuse for poor technique and fitness. Improvement needed.
