Is this the best kick drum ever? Well it’s a bold statement and one that will no doubt be questioned (rightly so) but watch the first minute or so to catch the patch previews and let the module answer that for you. There’s a hugely impressive range of kick sounds (as you’d expect) but there’s also a surprising wide palette of sound for synth tones. As always I aim to make videos that are educational and tutorials in themselves so I I've pushed this waaaay beyond kick drums ... Through the video I get into a trumpet that meets a dying tuba (yes a kick that sounds like a dying tuba), FM bells, kicks, snares, cowbells, sub bass and that odd 80s plastic-y rubbery sort of FM digital sound even … so there's LOTS of patch examples that you can skip around at the timing links below.
