A bittersweet trip to the heart of Amatitlán! 🏍️ In this episode, we leave CA-9 South to enter the center of this historic city. We visit the Parish of San Juan Bautista, a gem about to celebrate its 500th anniversary, and stroll through its vibrant central park filled with preachers. But the main course (literally) is on the shores of Lake Amatitlán. We enjoy a spectacular fried mojarra, but we also pause to reflect on the harsh reality: this paradise, once a pristine jewel like Lake Atitlán, is now one of the most polluted lakes in Central America.
