Why The X-Men Franchise Failed

We've had 20 years since the X-Men franchise beginning in 2000 and helping kicking off the modern superhero blockbuster. And X-Men Dark Phoenix may have tanked horribly but at least it's been a slow and agonising death of the franchise despite the high points of Logan, First Class, X2, Deadpool and Days Of Future Past.
