Svara Deva Male Choir - Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha Bagus S Utomo "OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SOHA" is a spiritual song originating from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. This song is often sung as a mantra to invoke protection and blessings from Tara, the goddess of compassion in Tibetan Buddhism. Concert in Bandung, presented by the Bandung Choral Society in collaboration with Parahyangan Catholic University. 22-25 January 2025, Gedung PPAG Universitas Parahyangan, Bandung, West Java. The Svara Deva Male Choir (SDMC), founded in 2020, consists of 25 outstanding male choristers from various choirs in different regions in Indonesia, who have received guidance and training directly under Agustinus Bambang Jusana. The difficulty of having a face-to-face rehearsal during the pandemic is behind the idea of forming this virtual choir, whose first performance was held on Christmas Eve back in December 2020. At that time, SDMC performed a piece called Ave Maria by Franz Biebl and it received a very good responses from choir lovers. SDMC has proven that “A Blessing in Disguise” is real. Being separated by distance does not become an obstacle for them to make music and instead opens up new networks through singing. Even among them, they only knew each other when they joined SDMC.
