Andy Prieboy (Wall of Voodoo) Interview | Grooves On The Record
Recorded 16th March 2026 40 years ago in 1986 marked the first time iconic new wave act Wall of Voodoo ventured to Australia and toured across the East coast of the nation following the huge success of Far Side of Crazy nationwide in Australia. At this point, the band had undergone a lead singer and drummer change with today's guest being the new voice that graced the new era that lasted from 1984 to the band's split in 1989. Andy Prieboy found his way to the scene via Punk from San Francisco before landing his spot in Wall Of Voodoo in 1984. following the split of Voodoo in 1989, he found his way to a solo career writing the timeless song Tomorrow Wendy which saw his return to Australia supporting Concrete Blonde in the 1990s, creating a musical titled "White Trash Wins Lotto" and more.
