Welcome to my winter vlog in Vienna! Today we left an Austrian village, about a 2 hour and 20 minute drive from Vienna. We arrived in the capital at night, and the intense cold was already greeting us. However, upon waking up, we were greeted by a spectacle: snow falling for the first time before my eyes, transforming the landscape into a fairytale setting. I swear I thought I wouldn't see snow falling on this trip! Before we started our tour of the city, I shared a valuable tip for budget travelers: stop at a supermarket and buy bread for a snack. A significant saving compared to the prices of tourist food options in Vienna! We then set off to explore the charms of Vienna. Our first stop was at the legendary Öfferl bakery, where I delighted in a cinnamon roll. One of the best I've ever had in my life! We headed towards Stadtpark, where we came across the statue of Johann Strauss, the famous Viennese composer. Next, we found a perfect activity for winter lovers: an ice skating rink, located in front of Beethoven Square. Although I didn't skate myself, I could see the joy and fun of those who were there. Those who watched the previous video know I'm not good at balancing, haha. As it got dark in Vienna, we gave some essential tips for facing the cold comfortably, from appropriate layers of clothing to indispensable accessories.
