Come along with me on a solo winter hike up Helvellyn, taking on the famous Striding Edge at sunrise. The Lake District in winter is a beautiful place, with snow-covered peaks, icy paths, and some seriously stunning views (and listen to me overuse the word stunning...) I’ll take you through the whole hike from Glenridding up Striding Edge to the summit of Helvellyn, and then down Swirral Edge, giving some tips on staying safe while solo hiking in the winter - plus sharing a little more about me!
