After 16 weeks of training, race day finally arrived — the Chester Marathon. My goal was to run under 3 hours 20 minutes, but as you’ll see, things didn’t exactly go to plan. From early pacing mistakes to a tough final stretch, this was one of the hardest but most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had.
