Different views: *The most classic, 1-and-1 ribbing. Make the edge stitch and start with 1 purl stockinette stitch and separate the desired stitches (always odd) with 1 unknitted knit stitch (the backstitch of the knitting). Lifting up the views: Calculate the front stitches without adding the views, as they will be worked later. Remember to always make 1 knit stockinette stitch or 1 purl stockinette stitch on the edge. NOT A SNAKE. We can knit in either Santa Clara stitch or ribbing. If the garment is for babies or children, we can raise all the facings. If the garment is larger, we join the facings in the middle of the back neckline. *The ideal facing - cable: (never twisted) With a cable or "eight." Always with a border stitch and enhanced by 1 or 2 reverse stockinette stitches and separated from the rest by 1 unknitted knit stitch. *The facing is incorporated, but not noticeable (like a cloth garment). The facing consists of 4 stitches: border stitch, 1 stippled stitch, and 1 unknitted knit stitch. If my yarn is very thick or I don't want the stippled stitch to be noticeable, I can replace the stippled stitch with reverse stockinette stitch (it looks tighter). This facing is used when applying a zipper, but don't add cm of facing, just those 4 stitches. The zipper is sewn over the purl or stippled stitch. Another view: Border stitch, 1 reverse stockinette stitch, 4 crossed stockinette stitches, 1 purl stockinette stitch, and 1 unknitted knit stitch. Application view: 2 scallop stitches and 1 knit stitch. Remember that the other view is a mirror image. Generally, the neckline is lowered to 6 centimeters, but if the sleeve is very wide at the top, sometimes the front is not lowered. The big secret of the front is that, whether it's a round neckline, a V-neck, or a V-neck, it must end in a vertex. This vertex is achieved with 3 stitches and is essential for calculating the armhole. I calculate the number of decreases I should make, taking into account those 4 fewer rows than the back and counting the last three stitches of the vertex, which are made at the end. Remember that the round neckline, to achieve a good shape, must end in at least 3-2-1. Vertex: slip one stitch, knit two together, and cast on the slip stitch over them.
