Tāne Mahuta Tonight, we invite you to experience Tāne Mahuta - our performance told through five epic acts. Act I begins with Tāne and the separation of Ranginui and Papatūānuku. Act II introduces Tāne and his brothers, the Atua who shaped the natural world. In Act III, Tāne forms Hineahuone from the earth, beginning the story of humankind. Act IV brings the forests, ngahere, to life. Finally, Act V sees the creation of the birds, manu, that fill Aotearoa.
