Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor was at TIFF ‘13, where he sat down for an onstage conversation about his life and career. Kapoor already had a long and storied career in India. 2008 was the year he broke through to Western audiences as the devious game show host in Danny Boyle’s SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE. The film, which won that year’s People’s Choice Award and went on to win the Oscar for Best Picture, is screening this summer as part of the TIFF Story in 50 Films.
