Two amazing cargo aircraft dealing with strong, gusty crosswinds at Lisbon Airport! Who handles the conditions better? Embraer KC-390 vs. Lockheed Martin C-130H at Humberto Delgado Airport (Lisbon International Airport). Both aircraft arrived from Ponta Delgada (LPPD), Azores, after supporting the events surrounding Portugal Day celebrations, which in 2026 took place in the Azores (Terceira Island). At the time of filming, winds at Lisbon were around 340° at 19 knots, creating challenging conditions during the arrivals and making for some impressive handling by both crews.
