After the acacia blossoms faded, wildflower honey flowed in briefly for about two days, but then slowed down. So today, I added supers to the split colonies. Since there are so many split colonies, I have been adding supers almost every day, so by the time it is time to harvest chestnut honey, there will likely be around 50 colonies. I also checked the wildflower honey coming in from one 3-tier super and one 4-tier super. While it is not yet enough to harvest, a considerable amount is coming in. Normally, this would be the time when we cannot harvest, but unusually, the nectar sources here are excellent, so wildflower honey is flowing in enough to even discuss harvesting.
