He checked Natsume-chan's scent and made a flehmen response face, and then went for his routine scratching... Huh? Something seemed off, and when I looked closely, I realized he was scratching the dead tree that had been standing in the middle of the enclosure. I had seen it wobbly a while ago, so I thought it was only a matter of time before it fell over. And that's exactly what happened. Looking around the enclosure again, I realized the tree was gone.
