Il Y A-T-IL UN TEMPS OU DES TEMPS ?

By Gérard Berry, on the occasion of TimeWorld 2019. TimeWorld 2019, the international conference on time, was held from November 21st to 23rd at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie in Paris. TimeWorld 2019 is a co-production of Innovaxiom and Universcience. TimeWorld features 60 conferences, 7 roundtables, 3 performances, 30 workshops, 2 competitions, and an exhibition. TimeWorld addresses time in all its theoretical, applied, and prospective forms, focusing on four main themes: measured time, perceived time, evolutionary time, and time in art. TimeWorld brings together industry, researchers, academics, and the general public, connecting minds to meet the challenges of our time. Supporting Ideas in Science means caring for others! It means taking part in building a multicultural, accessible, and free-of-charge knowledge base in science. By science, we mean mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, neuroscience, geology, paleontology, aeronautics, space exploration... but also sociology, psychology, philosophy of science, history of science, and ethics. Because Ideas in Science can only be built with you...
