Poet White House Take Over!

Recently I had the honor of going to the White House to meet Michelle Obama as part of the National Youth Poet Laureate Program representing the West. I want to thank the amazing groups, Urban Word, Youth Speaks, National Student Poets, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Presiden't Committee on the Arts and Humanities, for coming together for such a great event and helping to spearhead the first National Youth Poet Laureate program. I couldn't take a selfie when meeting Michelle, but you'll see some clips of her in there! Also thanks Michael Cirelli and Safiya Martinez Connell for being awesome throughout the trip.
