Danny Elfman's set @ Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, 10/31/2013

A Halloween night with Danny Elfman! This was his first live Halloween performance since the 1995 Oingo Boingo Farewell concert. This final 35+ minutes covered music from The Nightmare Before Christmas and Alice In Wonderland. Danny returned for an Oogie Boogie finale. Tim Burton closed out the night! "Danny Elfman's Music from the Films of Tim Burton" John Mauceri conducted the Hollywood Symphony & Page L.A. Choir. Catherine O'Hara, the original voice for Sally, beautifully sang her part live. So much tremendous talent on stage! It was a personal unexpected treat to be seated next to a couple that was part of the Boingo inner cicle (initials C.U + S.U) which made for some very interesting intermission conversation, for me at least. C.U. did lighting and more for almost all Boingo shows in addition to making many of those awesome concert T-shirts and merch. Am I the only one that desires a comprehensive documentary on the Mystic Knights, Boingo, the crew, etc? no copyright violation intended, buy music, support artists!
