Secrets of the Elephant & Bear Line | (Leamington Spa - Coventry - Nuneaton Line)
The Elephant and Bear Line, named so due to the historic symbols of Coventry (Elephant) and Warwickshire (Bear), runs from Leamington Spa to Nuneaton via Coventry and links the Chiltern mainline to the West Coast mainline Birmingham and Trent Valley branches. The line has a fascinating history with four stations built on the line within the last 40 years, 3 of those in the last 10! Today I have a look at all 7 stations on this line including their histories and facts which you may not have known!
