Fossa Verde: produtor constrói estrutura para tratar resíduos da suinocultura
In partnership with SENAR Alagoas, farmer Cícero Soares implemented an ecological septic tank to treat pig waste, preventing soil contamination and improving well-being on the property. 💡 With an affordable investment and simple materials like tires, rubble, and sand, the structure takes up little space and can accommodate up to 200 animals. Furthermore, the banana trees on the surface contribute to evapotranspiration, making the process even more sustainable. 📈 With technical assistance from SENAR, Cícero not only resolved his waste management issues but also increased his productivity by investing in breeding sows. The success of the initiative is attracting the interest of other farmers in the region.
