Afternoon at the Valley Stream — The Journey of the Girl and Kuro EP.1 "It's so hooot! Kuro, I can't take another step..." It was a midsummer trail in the woods. Under the blazing sun, Luna slumped lazily against Kuro’s back. Even Kuro, the big black cat, rarely had his tongue sticking out a bit, panting for air. —Right then. Through the trees, something caught her eye, sparkling bright. "...Kuro! Look over there!" Passing through the trees, a refreshing valley stream unfolded before them. Crystal clear water flowed smoothly between the rocks, its splashes gleaming like jewels. There was no question of who went first. "Here I go!" Splash! Kuro threw his usual aloof look out the window and dived in, sending up a massive spray of water. It was so cold and felt amazing! Splashing each other, diving, and laughing—the two of us made a delightful racket for quite a while. ...And then, a tummy let out a loud rumble. Kuro stared intently at Luna. "I know, I know!" Luna gently dipped her hand into the water, lighting up a tiny spark at her fingertips. Instantly, silvery fish came floating toward the light. Kuro’s eyes grew wide as saucers, and he caught one with his front paw. Luna caught one too—ha! Stepping up onto the bank, they gathered twigs to build a fire. With a touch of magic from her fingertips, a flame flickered to life. Soon, the delicious aroma of roasting fish filled the air. Kuro’s tail gave happy little wags, back and forth. —Full and satisfied. Before they knew it, the sun began to dip, painting the sky in a gentle orange. Luna rested her head comfortably against Kuro’s warm belly. The crackling sound of the campfire. The gentle murmur of the valley stream. "...Kuro, today was a really wonderful day." Instead of an answer, Kuro let out a deep, rumbling purr. The flames flickered softly, and the fireflies began to light up, one by one. I wish I could just stay like this forever. 🌄 This playlist is the very first record of the journey of Luna, the young mage, and Kuro, the black cat, as they travel the world.
