The Problem with Ricochet
Why is Stevie Richards not a fan of Ricochet's wrestling style? He likes Ricochet personally, but recent matches featuring Ricochet, as well as Will Ospreay and others, shows that Ricochet's pre-prescribed, rehearsed, Jackie Chan-style wrestling matches in WWE and AEW isn't very memorable. More surprisingly, AEW fans are quickly turning on Ricochet and it looks like he's turning heel. His segment with MVP, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin, as well as a strange backstage interaction with Swerve Strickland on AEW Dynamite, further advances that theory. Are AEW fans also sick of overly choreographed matches and no-selling big moves? It would explain why AEW's viewership continues to trend downwards...
