USA Jet Boeing 727 LOUD Takeoff from Kansas City (Wheeler Downtown)
This past Tuesday, a Boeing 727, N726US, was flying from Toledo to Kansas City, intended destination of Kansas City International Airport (MCI). With bad weather in the area and near zero visibility, the USA Jet crew diverted to Kansas City’s Wheeler Downtown Airport, marking the first 727 visit to MKC in many years. The visit of this classic also made for a treat for avgeeks, I myself being one of them.
