He was a professor at the Philadelphia Bible Institute for eight years and pastor of Calvary Church in Bristol, Pennsylvania for 18 years. He also pastored Highland Park Church in Michigan for over five years and then became an itinerant preacher and speaker. Dr. Lehman Strauss published more than a dozen books.
