I went in expecting to nitpick, but the new career mode legitimately feels better than the original. The fighters move smoother, the footwork feels real, and the tutorial finally explains how to activate damage, what 100% body effort is, and how the whole stamina/punishment system actually works. Career mode had me moving like real sparring — bouncing, angling, slipping — and it’s honestly the best boxing workout I’ve had in VR. Multiplayer can be rough depending on ping, but when the netcode behaves? It’s fire. I burned over 1,000 calories today. It’s my go-to fitness app now. Career mode’s coach keeps you locked in, the fighters feel more realistic, and the updates actually matter. If you’re looking for a legit VR workout or boxing sim on the Meta Quest, this might be the one.
