This 5k PARKRUN was EXTREME! Beacon Hill

Welcome to my review of the #BeaconHill Country Park #Parkrun, one of the most challenging and scenic parkruns I've experienced so far. Located in the heart of the beautiful #Charnwood Forest, which inspired a young David #Attenborough, this #run takes you through some of the most stunning and varied landscapes in the Midlands. The course is challenging, with a mix of muddy inclines and fast descents. It's tricky terrain means trail trainers are definitely recommended but it is a great challenge for #runners of all levels. The run starts near the Native Tree Collection by the bottom car park, and you'll soon find yourself running through lush woodland and open heathland, with breathtaking views over the surrounding countryside. The course is undulating, with a couple of steep sections that will test your endurance and fitness levels. Overall, the Beacon Hill Country Park Parkrun is a fantastic way to challenge yourself and enjoy the natural beauty of the Midlands.
