Illenium - Interview

Don't call him an EDM DJ. At this point in his career, San Francisco electronic mainstay Nick Miller aka Illenium is more concerned with making music that has a brain. "I'm not going to make a radio hit that's going to be in all the frat houses," says Illenium. "I kind of just want to make music that I can relate with...that has part of my story in it." AXS caught up with Illenium on the back of the release of his latest album Awake and before his 2017 tour where he talked about why his newest live show is the biggest challenge of his career thus far and his far-reaching influences.
