1940 ART DECO AIRPORT / Old Houston Municipal Terminal Building / Houston Texas
Walk through the surviving 1940 Art Deco Airport at the old Houston Municipal Terminal in Houston, Texas. We will tour the main terminal designed by Joseph Finger, a famous ART DECO architect, and learn about what it was like to fly in the 1940's and 1950's. The airport was active from 1940 - 1955 and get an in depth look at a 1942 Lockheed commercial aircraft.
