Preparing to ride 150k plus is the modern Gravel bike, just an XC bike?
Welcome to episode 52 of Bicycle Workshop Tales. OK, grab a cuppa. This week is all about preparing to riding 150k. Theres 2 reasons for doing this, the main one, taking part in the Global Fat Viking Fatbike event, the second is basically seeing how my fitness is, can I ride it? The video shows me preparing a suitable bike, swopping parts and setting things up. I also chat about various topics in this one, including my plans for attending the Malverns Classic Festival, I discuss my experience in sub zero snow rides and include some previous footage from us riding in Switzerland. I offer my thoughts on the current discussion going on about Gravel and XC bikes including a mention of my own Mr Harry frame. I discuss the Bikepacking bags we make and the reason behind it. And finally there's lots of chat. The Malverns Classic - https://malvernsclassic.com/ Gusset Beard Bars - https://slam69.co.uk/products/gusset-...
