Riding Behind a 100 Year Old Steam Locomotive | New Hope & Ivyland 40 | Observation Deck Ride (4K)

Since New Hope & Ivyland 2-8-0 40 turned 100 years old and got taken out of service for its 1472 day inspection in December 2025, I decided to upload the video of my ride behind it. I saw 40 running around its train trackside at New Hope and while I was on the train at Lahaska. I decided to record the return trip from Lahaska to New Hope, PA since I was standing on the observation deck at the end of the train. Watch as the train passes through railroad crossings (including one under construction) as well as passing over a few bridges. Check out the unique views of 40 curving its way through Bucks County from the open air car! This video was taken in 2023.
