Teeradet Somboon, or Tee, a 22-year-old from Ubon Ratchathani province, has lived with his grandparents since he can remember. Their house is dilapidated; the ceiling and pillars are made of wood, infested with termites, and the corrugated iron roof is rusted and full of holes. When it rains, water seeps into the house. The house has no floor; it's all dirt, making it wet when it rains, attracting many ants and insects. Tee sleeps on a wooden bed with a mat and a mosquito net. His parents separated when he was young, and he currently lives with his grandparents, both of whom have health problems. His grandfather is not as strong as he used to be, has hearing difficulties, and cannot do heavy work. His grandmother has poor eyesight; one eye is completely blind, and the other has blurry vision, making daily life difficult. Tee helps his grandparents with farming as much as he can. He doesn't drink alcohol, doesn't use drugs, and isn't a troublemaker. He wants to continue his education, but his grandmother can't afford it, so he has had to earn money to support his own schooling since he was young. Since his parents separated when Theer was 7 years old, he hadn't seen his father again. The last time they met, his father gave him a wallet as a memento, which Theer still uses to this day. About two years ago, Theer considered searching for his father because life was very difficult at that time. Many problems arose simultaneously, and Theer didn't know who to turn to for advice. He had to decide on his future: whether to continue studying or work. Theer decided to apply to a teacher's program and passed, but he didn't have the tuition money because all his income went to household expenses. Finally, Theer decided to search for his father through Facebook and was able to contact him through his stepmother, or his father's ex-girlfriend. The first day he spoke with his father, Theer cried while working because he was so happy to be in contact with him again. They talked about their feelings, their longing, and what they had lost over the past several years. Theer's father supported his studies. Even though he didn't have much money, he pawned his motorcycle to help cover the tuition fees. Theer returned to school in his first year after a three-year break and was very happy to be able to pursue his dream. Theer's life goal is to graduate and become a teacher to take care of his grandparents and be able to take care of his father in the future. Theer has been following the Super 100 program for over 6-7 years and applied to be on the show when he was 16. His dream then, and his dream now, remains the same: to meet his father.
