#Taroudant #Training #Taroudant #Leadership #Education The atmosphere of the closing day of the training course on teaching according to effective pedagogical approaches for teachers of Al-Riyada middle schools in Taroudant By: Fatima Bourissa On Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Regional Center for Education and Training Professions - Taroudant branch, the training course on "Teaching According to Effective Pedagogical Approaches" concluded for middle school teachers of Al-Riyada middle schools in the Taroudant Regional Directorate of the Regional Academy of Education and Training. This training, organized by the Regional Directorate of Education in Taroudant over four days from July 3rd to 6th, 2024, is part of the implementation of the third integrated program within the 2022-2026 Reform Roadmap. This program aims to implement a new model of middle schools with effective and efficient pedagogical approaches to reduce school dropout rates, and to prepare for the launch of the "Leadership Middle Schools" program at the start of the next academic year in September 2024. The final day of this training session was marked by an inspection visit from the Head of the Educational Affairs Department at the Regional Directorate of Education in Taroudant and the Regional Coordinator of the Leadership Institutions Project at the same directorate, Moulay Abdellah Zakri, accompanied by the training session coordinator, Mohamed Benhamou. During the visit, Mr. Zakri observed the training proceedings and delivered a speech in which he thanked the educational supervisors (inspectors) who oversaw this highly successful training, thanks to the commitment and valuable contributions of the participating teachers in the workshops. He expressed his hope that the training would be successful. The outcomes of these training days and the didactic tools and resources shared during these workshops should resonate and add value to classroom practice in the institutions where they work. Regarding this training course, Moulay Abdellah Zakri, Head of the Educational Affairs Department at the Taroudant Directorate, told the newspaper Sawt Al-Haqiqa: "This training course, which focused on effective teaching and teaching at the appropriate level (TaRL), targeted approximately 230 teachers from the leading preparatory schools that will host this pilot program in the upcoming 2024/2025 academic year. These five schools were led by 12 inspectors who had themselves received training in this field at the regional and national levels. The course was a great success due to the active participation and commitment of all involved, from trainers to teachers." In closing, Moulay Abdellah Zakri expressed his gratitude to all the educational stakeholders who contributed to the success of this training course. It is worth noting that the training course covered the following subjects: Arabic language, French language, Islamic studies, mathematics, physics, life and earth sciences, and social studies. Some of the participants in this training course, as well as the inspectors who led it, expressed to the newspaper their readiness to ensure the success of this new project and its implementation in the leading preparatory schools starting next academic year, given its anticipated positive impact on student achievement. The first training sessions for the leading preparatory schools in Taroudant were conducted under excellent organizational conditions and were a success, reflected in the harmony between the course leaders and the participants, who actively engaged in the various workshops.
