Jonathan Vernon-Smith, or 'JVS', presents the hugely popular programme 'Treasure Quest' on BBC Three Counties Radio and BBC Radio Northampton, as well as the weekday mid-morning show on Three Counties. Here he talks about his route into radio, why he admires Sir Terry Wogan and how the industry might change in the future. Presented by James Hanson. Filmed and Produced by Andy Bennett. Jonathan Vernon-Smith was first heard on British radio whilst still a teenager, as a regular caller to shows on BBC local radio. From there he began working behind the scenes at BBC Three Counties Radio, before becoming one half of the comedy duo 'Ern and Vern'. Having presented shows on BBC Radio 5 Live, he now presents the mid-morning phone-in on Three Counties, as well as the Saturday morning 'Treasure Quest', which is also broadcast on BBC Radio Northampton.
