10 ribs, 49 knots and full boating fun! 🚤 | To the Sea ep 85 🚤 My first Poker Run – what an experience! HC is invited to its very first Brig Poker Run – a social boat event inspired by the American Poker Run traditions. Together with Atle Staff, the Brig family and boat enthusiasts from several countries, we set off from Hankø Marina and get to experience a day filled with speed, boating fun and a fantastic archipelago. ⚓ We collect poker cards along the way at several stops, visit Skjærhalden, drive on through the Hvaler archipelago and end the day in Fredrikstad city center before returning to Hankø. Along the way, we also hear the story of Brig – the Ukrainian rib producer that rose again after the devastation of the war. But this is also an important working day at T1. Back at Ragnar Ringstad's we continue preparations for the summer trip. Christian Bakken from EasyDav comes to install the davit solution that we will test throughout the season. Together we measure, plan and install the system that will make it possible to take the dinghy on long trips. At the same time, Lilli is in full swing with the spring cleaning, while Billy follows along if anything needs to be repaired along the way.
