(3/12/2016) MCI MC9 Greyhound coach YYR832 - Ensignbus Running Day - Lakeside to Purfleet

This iconic American Greyhound coach made its first public appearance at this year's Ensignbus Running Day, and it was probably the most eye-catching vehicle in the event. I was really surprised by it. This MCI MC9 was new to Kerrville Bus Service of Texas, an allied company of Greyhound, in 1982. It has a Detroit 6V-92TA two-stroke diesel engine and an Allison HT740 four-speed automatic gearbox. It was purchased by Ensignbus in March 2016, and has been used for film shots.
