What Was JoyToy Thinking? Design of Razorback Ultramarine Warhammer 40k Tank Review & Unboxing

This is not going to be your usual toy review. Most reviews you’ll find online will walk you through the unboxing, the paint, the articulation, and the basic features—essentially a surface-level look at the product. But that’s not what I’m interested in here. In this video, I’m going to be looking at the JoyToy Razorback from a very different perspective—a design perspective. As someone who builds Warhammer vehicles from scratch—like my own Land Raider and other custom toys —I don’t just see these models as collectibles. I see them as designed objects. Every panel, every hinge, every feature has a reason behind it. Or at least, it should. I’ll be asking deeper questions like: Does this design actually work? Is it practical? Is it intuitive to use? And most importantly—if this were my own design—what would I do differently? Because at the end of the day, this Razorback isn’t just a display piece. It’s a vehicle. And a vehicle—whether real or fictional—needs to make sense in how it functions.
