18th Century SpitJack Restoration – The Disassembly
Follow me as I restore, to working order this beautiful 18th century spitjack from England. A spitjack is a clock drive mechanism powered by a weight to turn a rotisserie spit roasting meat in a hearth or fireplace dating from a time before electric power. Spitjacks of this nature are rare and hard to find so this is a great chance to get a look at the interworking of such a mechanical devise. Email Link: [email protected]
