Mercedes ML Trunk Boot not working due to Latch not working. DIY cheap fix for ML300 ML320 ML350.

As a result my recommendation is to now use the following part: Amazon (US and General): https://amzn.to/3XjyZrY Amazon (Australia): https://amzn.to/3CtvnKP The problem first became apparent that I could not open the boot and we had to use the emergency latch from inside the car to open the boot, however when it was closed I realised that the boot was not fully closed because a alert was on the dashboard indicating that the boot was not closed.
