Why I’m Selling Tara… and Searching for My Forever Boat
After an unforgettable summer aboard Tara, I’ve come to a difficult decision. This isn’t about wanting a bigger or faster boat. Tara has given me some of the happiest moments I’ve experienced in years and reminded me why a simple life under sail means so much to me. But at 6’5”, I’ve begun to realise that if I want to spend months aboard, sail with my wife, and one day sail to Scotland, Norway and perhaps even the Azores, I need a little more space and comfort. In this video I explain why I’ve decided to put Tara on the market, what I’m looking for in her replacement, and why the Victoria 34 has captured my imagination. Join me over the coming weeks as I view different boats and discover whether I’ve found my forever yacht. Thanks for watching. Mark ⚓ A Restless Heart
