Xenoblade 3 Future Redeemed Any% Normal Speedrun WR in 1:39:11

First sub 1:40 normal as well as first WR on switch 2, record by 2 minutes and once again hold all any% WRs. Pretty happy with this run, lumos and alpha 1 did troll and costed ~1:30 but other favorable rng balances it out. Felt I played well aside from 2nd try tirkin skip, would've liked to have gotten a 1:38 but I'm still satisfied with this. As I always try to do, spent a lot of time optimizing the newest route to be the best blend of consistency and speed, with some fairly significant innovations and incorporating the best ideas of other runners. Fast and smooth AP route, making a handful of fight strats safer/faster, and a number of other miscellaneous things (oracle spire black crystal is my favorite addition). Normal is a less volatile run than it used to be, with the obvious exception of the endgame rng circus. Optimizing the time to the max would be a very different story, 1:36 and below is feasible but quite unforgiving. Eta/W are still pretty volatile, rng like long loads/lumos/items/etc are still present, and na'el will always remain in sketchy territory as much as we can try to mitigate it. Really enjoy FR as a run, doesn't have the massive downtime of nothing the base games do there's always something to be focused on, very rewarding to master but nothing is excruciatingly difficult. It's just very frustrating that chain order rng is really that costly, and long loads existing at all. Really hoping a switch 2 update/edition does come into fruition and can do a lot for this game along with the others
