Gespenst Type -0 here with a special present for everyone! For those of you who aren't aware, there used to be a channel run by a user who went by the handle of Alkahest. It was primarily dedicated to extending various music tracks from video games (hence his own name of Amateur Extension Theater 2000, or AET2k). Sadly, his channel was forcibly shut down a few years ago. But among his collection of music extensions were many songs from the Super Robot Wars series. And at one point, he had uploaded his own dual mix of the song Variable Formation. Usually heard as an event theme for when the SRX is formed, it's secondary use is when the R-1, R-2, and R-3 perform the Formation R team attack. Personally, I prefer it over the SRX's standard BGM, Soul of Steel. (Not that I dislike that song, mind you.) This fusion remix merges the powerful orchestra used in the Divine Wars Anime with the scorching guitar from Original Generations on the PS2. And let me tell you, the depth of the former combines incredibly well with the energy of the latter, creating something unique and dynamic. Luckily, before AET2k went under (shakes fist) I had downloaded an MP3 file of this remix, and now I'm reuploading it so that it can be enjoyed once more.
