The English Paper Pieced Hexagon Quilt is pinned and ready for the next stage
After I took all the papers out of Agnes's quilt I made the quilt sandwich ready for the next stage, the hand quilting. In this video I talk about my backing choices, what I used for the borders and the wadding (batting) I get my wadding from Doughty's here in the UK. I really like the mix of cotton and bamboo. https://www.doughtysonline.co.uk Over on Patreon the Poll to help me decide which quilt pattern to choose is still available for you to cast your vote! Plus a 'Behind The Scenes' chatter about the day I put this project together. For the price of a posh coffee or a magazine, there are weekly, ad free videos for you to enjoy back to the start of 2019! / thelasthomelyhouse Please note! when you join Patreon, a charge is made that day and then again on the first of the month - so if you are interested in helping me decide about my quilting pattern - WAIT TILL THE 1ST OF JUNE!!! Your vote will still count and be very much appreciated! In my little online shop you'll find the aprons, tea towels, cards and books plus other seasonal things as I have them. One person every month is chosen at random from the mailing list and we send a selection of treats from The Shipping Room. Join the mailing list to be in with a chance! https://www.thelasthomelyhouse.co.uk You can join the Virtual Lime Green Sofa on Facebook by searching for The Last Homely House where the lovely Admin Folk will welcome you.
