Why is Ghana doomed forever? Not because of colonialism — but because of what we did to ourselves. Ghana has enough gold, cocoa, and oil to be one of the richest nations on Earth. So why are we still broke? Why are our water bodies destroyed by illegal mining? Why are our children growing up in survival mode? In this video, I break down the 69-year cycle that has trapped Ghana in poverty. Nkrumah built 18 state-owned enterprises. After his overthrow, they were sold, abandoned, or destroyed. We stopped processing raw materials. The money was stolen. Population grew faster than jobs. Children grew up hungry and angry. And the same politicians keep the cycle running.
