Found it again and decided to record everything. Made a few changes and moved it down to the key of Bb. This arrangement takes both the Church Slavonic and English versions as well as the SATB and TTBB versions into consideration. I also chose to work in the range that was comfortable/performable for me in a choral setting, which led me to choose to mix in a way that still maintains dynamics and choral tone, but also with better bass fidelity for the listening experience. This arrangement is both the English and Church Slavonic version in one. Also for the curious, the low notes aree a combination of chest (chest fry for G1 and F1) and subharmonics, and mix/head for everything above F4. 👍 Please enjoy! It was one of the last sacred works he composed before he turned to secular arts when the Soviet government began to suppress Christianity. Although he never heard his own composition performed, his children had the opportunity following his death. "Salvation is Created'" was originally published in 1913 by J. Fischer and Bro. and its popularity drove editors to produce many different versions in both Russian and English.
