Greetings. This is Yosemo. First, please accept my sincere apologies for the delay. Given the gravity of today’s subject, it took me much longer than anticipated to process and convey it with the depth it deserves. As I am still evolving as a storyteller, I wanted to take the extra time to get it right. Some of you might ask, "Why venture into such a perilous place?" I’d like to share a bit of my purpose with you. Since my youth, I’ve felt a profound calling to explore marginalized cultures—those often overlooked or intentionally ignored. Beyond the vibrant, postcard-perfect streets of Cartagena’s El Centro or Getsemani, there are children born into a cycle of violence they’ve been forced to accept as "normal." In this film, I’ve focused on the harrowing traditions these children must endure. While there are certainly struggles within my own home in Korea, I don’t believe I am yet equipped to do those stories justice; I hope to revisit them when I’ve matured further as a creator. Today, we witness the lawless reality of Nelson Mandela—a place where the 21st century seems to have forgotten its way. Thank you for your presence and your time. Enjoy the film.
