Restoration of an old Hand Held Drill (Restore it project)| NICE

Nice restoration of an old hand held brace drill, as it was quite rusty i took the chance to restore it. I've got this quite antique rusty tool hand held brace drill (probably from the 30s - 40s) from my dad and I wanted to restore it. This is my second try restoring an old rusty object and then uploading the video on youtube. My next projects might concern as well old rusty tools to be restored and brought back to new life. Although I believe it comes from years of service, back in time where there was no electricity or, at least, was not readily available, the drill was perfectly working but not very good looking so i decided to restore it or, better, give it a light restoration for the years to come, you'll never know ;-). I thought this restoration was an easy one while, instead, i spent a lot of time removing the rust on it and, not happy with the result, I decided to blast it (which was not planned in the beginning). Moreover i decided to make a new wood handle as the original one was cracked and this as well took me a long time on the lathe as this was my first time turning wood, on top of that my wife says the old handle is more beautiful than the one i made.
