Come and enjoy riverfront camping and cabin accommodation. The picturesque banks of the Shoalhaven River play host to the perfect escape from the burdens of city life. Only 2.5 hours from Sydney but feels like a world away. Amongst the trees and under the clear blue sky, sit around your campfire and allow yourself the time to reflect, reconnect, and revel in nature's abundance. 1. KIDS PLAYGROUND: Excited to announce that the new playground is open. This includes: New playground New Jumping Pillow putt Put golf New Basketball Court New Soccer nets 2. FISHING: The Shoalhaven river along the Grady’s property is a mixture between title salt water and fresh river water which is home to many species of fish, which include bass, estuary perch, bream, flathead, mullet and the occasional eel. 3. BMX TRACK: Grady’s has a BMX track on site which has several jumps and ramps for children to enjoy (no motorised bikes allowed). 4. CANOEING & PADDLE BOARDS: Grady’s is a great location for the canoeing and paddle boards beginners or enthusiasts. Head upstream for mild rapids or downstream for calm waters. 5. 4 WDRIVING & TRAIL BIKE RIDING: Grady’s is in close proximity to many fire trails and 4WD tracks. 6. BUSHWALKING & HIKING: There are many walking tracks in and around the Yalwal region. (unfortunately due to the bushfires Yalwal is closed) There are other bush walks in the Nowra which we have maps for. Enquire at the office 7. BOATING: Bring your own boat and enjoy the use of our boat ramp and jetty. The Shoalhaven River is renowned for excellent skiing/ wakeboarding conditions. 8. SWIMMING: The water along the Gradys property is fresh and clean and is suitable for swimming. There are many sandy beaches along the banks of the property. 9. PICNICS & RECREATION: There are many grassy areas to enjoy a picnic and picnic tables available right on the river. We also have a large recreational area to play games such as soccer, football & cricket. 10. CAMP KITCHEN: We have upgraded our camp kitchen that includes: BBQs, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, tables & chairs.
